Proactive monitoring is the 21st century version of I.T. support.
In the past, if your computer stopped working, you called up your I.T. support company and booked an appointment with them to come out and hopefully fix the problem.
But these days, the vast majority of I.T. issues can be detected and solved (usually automatically via scripts), before the user even realises there’s a problem.
That’s what proactive monitoring is all about. It works by having ‘agents’ installed on all your devices. They detect problems such as outdated plugins, security issues, or potential threats, and alert us. We then take the necessary action.
If applicable, we also run the same action on all the other devices on your network via our monitoring software, so as to prevent them from suffering the same problem.
And as mentioned previously, this usually happens before you even realise anything’s wrong. So you’re free to your work without interruption.
